A Greeneville woman was arrested this morning for trespassing after officers saw a male go into the woods and found him and the female in a tent.
Around 2 AM this morning, a deputy while on patrol saw a male with a backpack go toward the woods. The property is an estate overseen by an Attorney. The officer searched the woods for the trespasser and heard the male speaking with a female, who was inside the tent.
The individuals were asked to exit the tent, at that point the male identified as Lee Jennings, did exit the tent but the female did not, even after numerous commands from the officer. Jennings said he did not know the females name but told the officer there were two machete’s inside. The officer opened the tent and found the female, Whitney Williams, who was hiding beneath a mattress.
She was arrested for resisting stop, frisk, and halt.
