A man wanted on an outstanding warrant was taken into custody at Walgreens on East Andrew Johnson Highway on Monday night.
The Greeneville Police Department responded to the store around 8:15 PM after the manager called to report a man who appeared to be hiding things under the hood of his car and talking to himself.
The man, identified as John Meadows of Enterprize Lane, was located outside next to the Red Box machine. He told police he was working on his car for his boss.
A records check showed that Meadows had a warrant for violation of probation. He was transported to the Greene County Detention Center.
