Early this morning on East Andrew Johnson Highway, Greeneville officers noticed a vehicle speeding. Officers confirmed with radar that the gray Ram Pickup was traveling 63 in a 45 mph zone.
Police stopped the truck in the 2400 block of East Andrew Johnson Highway and spoke with the driver, Eric Ramey of Johnson City. According to the report, officers could smell alcohol coming from Ramey and conducted Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.
Ramey performed poorly during testing and was placed under arrest for DUI second offense.
