The Greene County Board of Education will meet this afternoon at the Central Office.
Presentations and Celebrations will start the meeting with Chuckey-Doak High School Chorus and Art Awards. Recognition will be given to students from the Class of 2023 who have scored a 30 or higher on the ACT, which is an entrance exam used by most colleges and universities and is a graduation requirement.
There are several items on the agenda that will be reviewed and considered for approval like monthly reports, grants, contracts, field trip requests and more. The board will approve policies on the second reading for school district goals and evaluation on the district.
Furthermore, the board will be reviewing budgets for approval. The meeting will be this afternoon at 5:30 PM and is located on 910 West Summer Street.
