For your weather update: The forecast for the remainder of the week is currently showing a decrease in rainfall, although the weather pattern will continue with rain showers and temperatures above normal.
Due to the decrease in rainfall, flooding potential has reduced. Rain will continue through Friday but should be light to moderate. Due to the continuous bursts of rain the potential of ponding on area roadways and water on roadways in the usual prone areas, are still possible. Most locations can expect from 1 to 2+ inches of additional rainfall from today through Friday morning.
Localized flooding of low-lying areas is possible, but widespread flooding is NOT expected this week. Isolated thunderstorms are likely throughout this multi-day event, but the risk of severe storms is very low to non-existent. Unseasonably warm temperatures can be expected the remainder of the week with highs mainly in the 60’s today through Friday. Cooler weather will move in this weekend with temperatures in the 50’s for Saturday and Sunday.
