A Greeneville man who was out hunting Saturday morning reported that someone fired gunshots in his direction.
The man was walking into a wooded area on Kelley Gap Road around 7:00 AM to go hunting. When he got close to the wood line, a small SUV came up the roadway and reportedly shot three times in the direction he was standing.
The man was not injured and there was no damage to any nearby property. A shell casing was recovered from the roadway and turned into evidence. The Greene County Sheriff’s Department investigated the incident.
