A warrant was issued for an Afton man for leaving the Greene County Courthouse after a deputy stopped him regarding a white crystal substance in a pill bottle.
Suspect Terry Duncan was at the courthouse yesterday afternoon around 12:30 PM for a screening. The deputy noticed an orange pill bottle in his pocket and he was advised to drop it in the bucket for screening. After walking through the scanner Duncan grabbed all his belongings except the pill bottle and proceeded to make his payment.
The deputy saw the pill bottle that was left and noticed a clear baggie inside the container, which had a white crystal like substance. She advised Duncan of her discovery and asked him to take a seat. Duncan snuck out of the courthouse after deputies looked away for a moment and exited through the back door.
A warrant was issued for his arrest for possession of meth, aggravated trespassing, and resisting stop and frisk. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a green sweatshirt
