A Mosheim man has passed away from injuries he sustained in a wreck involving a tractor-trailer last month.
83-year-old Richard M. Nalley died on Thursday from injuries received in the accident that occurred on November 14 along the West Andrew Johnson Highway.
According to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Nalley pulled from a stop sign on Spring Street into the path of a tractor-trailer driven by 56-year-old Kenneth Renner of Whitesburg. The impact pushed Nalley’s Nissan Frontier off the roadway into the grass, while Renner’s truck hit a guardrail before ending up in a ditch.
Nalley was transported to the Johnson City Medical Center following the wreck and died from his injuries on Thursday. Renner sustained minor injures in the accident.
