A Limestone man was arrested on felony drug charges after he was found in possession of bags of marijuana for resale.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, 54-year-old Brian Whittemore was stopped by deputies on Highway 81 South and a strong odor of marijuana was detected coming from his vehicle.
Whittemore said he had marijuana in a duffle bag behind his seat. A check revealed 3.36 ounces of marijuana packaged in individual baggies for resale. Whittemore was also discovered to have a revoked license.
Whittemore was arrested for Schedule 6 drug violations. He was also discovered to have a revoked license. His bond was set at $10,000. A court date was scheduled for today.
