A Chuckey woman wanted on an outstanding warrant was taken into custody Thursday night at Walmart on East Andrew Johnson Highway.
The Greeneville Police Department responded to the store around 10:00 PM. McAyla Shelton of Fox Road was in the custody of Walmart Loss Prevention. A records checked showed that she had an active failure to appear warrant on file with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department.
Shelton was transported to the Greene County Detention Center.
