All indications point to Black Friday being a success both for stores and shoppers. Now with the holiday season officially upon us, small businesses have a day of their own between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, where people are encouraged to shop small and shop local. It’s known as Small Business Saturday.
Small businesses rely on the community to remain afloat and in business, which is why it is so important for them to have your support.
Small businesses are thankful this Saturday has received increased attention each year. A Bankrate.com survey released earlier, found that 59% of holiday shoppers are likely to hit stores on Small Business Saturday, edging out Black Friday sales slightly.
Give back during your gift-giving shopping time. Be sure you get out this season and shop small and shop local. It is always appreciated.
