A shoplifting incident at Walmart on East Andrew Johnson Highway on Monday evening is under investigation.
An employee told the Greeneville Police Department that two women were at the self checkout shortly after 7:00 PM with several items in their cart. One of the woman reportedly kept moving things around in the cart and acted as if she was scanning the items.
The employee noticed through surveillance footage that the woman did not scan all the items in the cart and attempted to conceal them with other items already bagged.
The two exited the store without paying for the rest of the items and left the property in a gray colored Toyota SUV.
