A woman was arrested yesterday after it was reported that she entered a residence with a gun in Mohawk, at about 4:30 AM.
Suspect Mary Smallwood of Mohawk, entered the home on Quail Park Lane, pointed the gun at the two victims inside the home, then forced them out of the house. One of the victims stated they were able to wrestle Smallwood to the ground once outside and got the gun from her. The report states the victim then hit her on top of the head with the gun and Smallwood left the home. A warrant was issued for the suspect for aggravated burglary and aggravated assault.
She was found at Link Hills Country Club around 10 AM, after deputies conducted a search with a K-9. She was arrested and taken into custody.
