The Greene County Commission will have their regular scheduled meeting tonight in the Greene County Courthouse.
Multiple resolutions will be considered, including allowing the County Mayor to purchase the Cutshall 50 acre property, on Snapps Ferry Road. The property is subject to a geological study, to see if it’s suitable for commercial redevelopment. The purchase would be $1,300,000 and would promote economic development.
There will be a consideration to appropriate funds to the Sheriff’s Department in the amount of about $38,000 for the Traffic Safety Grant for the upcoming Fiscal Year. Appropriating $27,000 to the Drug Recovery Court Department for funds received from an increase in grant funding. As well as a consideration to add Emperor Lane to the Greene County Road List.
The Greene County Commission will meet at 6 PM in the Criminal Courtroom in the Greene County Courthouse.
