Greene County can expect between one-half and one inch of rain beginning tonight and continuing through Friday night as what’s left of Hurricane Nicole.

In Portions of east Tennessee southeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph are expected. Above 4,000 feet, southeast winds will be 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Locally, higher gusts up to 60 mph are possible across the highest peaks.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle and secure outdoor objects.
