A counterfeit bill was found in a bank deposit bag Friday morning, according to Greeneville police.
Officers went to the Andrew Johnson Bank branch on the 11-E bypass Friday and were notified that a fake $100 bill was found in the overnight deposit from Pizza Plus.
The bill was taken to the Greeneville Police Department and placed into evidence.
