Greene County Clerk Lori Bryant is asking the public to check their vehicle registration renewal notices, as some have been mailed out with incorrect information.
Bryant said that the notices were sent out with the wrong vehicle information for the customer on the front, listing vehicles that person has never owned.
Several counties, including Greene County, brought the issue with incorrect renewal notices to the attention of the State of Tennessee Vehicle Services Division.
If you receive a vehicle renewal notice in the mail, check to make sure the information on it is correct. For more information, call the Greene County Clerk office at 798-1708.
