Early voting for the upcoming State and Federal General Election on November 8th continues today and tomorrow and will resume Monday.
So far, 3,895 people have voted early. Yesterday, 537 more votes were submitted at the Greene County Election Commission office on CCU Boulevard. Not as many people are taking advantage of the shortened wait time this year and we only have until November 3 before election day to cast in early votes. The deadline to request an absentee by-mail ballot is Tuesday.
Folks are definitely encouraging all, especially the youth, to get out and vote and have their voices heard. This year, it’s even easier to vote in Tennessee and voters can find their early voting and Election Day hours, polling locations, and much more with the GoVoteTN App or online at GoVoteTN.gov.
