This is the final week of school in the Greeneville and Greene County School Systems for the 2025-2026 school year.
The last full day in both systems will be Wednesday, with an abbreviated day for city students on Thursday, and Friday for county students.
Ceremonies honoring local educators are also scheduled this week.
The City School Personnel Banquet is Thursday afternoon at 12:30 at First Baptist Church.
The County Board of Education will also recognize staff, including retirees, during the May meeting of the board Thursday at 5:30 at Chuckey Doak.
Graduations were held last week at the four Greene County High Schools. Greeneville High graduation is this Saturday, May 23 at 10:00 am with the location to be announced Wednesday, dependent on the weather forecast.
